“I moved into a condo unit which needed a facelift throughout as well as a complete kitchen renovation. Barbara prepared a design plan and budget, and managed all the work done which included new floors, lighting, furnishings, closet interiors, kitchen cabinetry and countertops. The work took a bit longer to complete than expected, but that was due to issues beyond Barbara’s control. We had never used a designer but needed help. We hired Barbara for an initial consultation
on how best to tackle moving my office to the basement. She was instrumental
in asking questions about things I never thought of and helped us really see
the potential. Barbara also helped us see that there were things we actually
didn’t need to do, and that other items would benefit us more.
We ended up hiring Barbara to manage the reno.
From my boards on Houzz and Pinterest with conversations she was able to
pull together our whole main floor (flooring, all new furniture, colours, etc)
and plan our entire basement.
My husband and I both loved everything. On budget, and totally our taste.
She did all the legwork and planned everything to the last detail.
Our home is now completely pulled together, and feels like adults actually live here!
She was professional, extremely knowledgeable and always
available to answer emails and provide answers to things I had no clue about.
We now have a beautifully finished basement. It’s totally cohesive in tone
and feel which I could never have done on my own. And most importantly?
It all fits our family like a glove.
