✨ A Staircase Reimagined ✨
This staircase redesign was all about enhancing space, elegance, and flow while ensuring the structural and design vision aligned seamlessly.
The Beach home attic was gathering cobwebs and never renovated. The staircase was quite narrow and dark.
The goal of this project >Widen the treads for comfort and safety and create a sense of airiness through modern transparency.
The process unfolded in four key phases:
🔹 Collaboration: Working closely with the clients, architect and contractor to discuss vision and to navigate any building restrictions.
🔹 Design Refinement: Aligning my concept with structural feasibility while maintaining the aesthetic vision.
🔹 Client-Centric Approach: Presenting a refined concept that incorporated their preferences while selecting the perfect wood flooring, handrail materials, and sleek glass partitions.
🔹 Sustainability: Sourced locally manufactured wood flooring and salvaged wood for the handrail
The result was a stunning transformation that feels both open and inviting.
